A course from Stochastic Originals
Draft, review and research with AI — without filing a citation you can't verify.
Lawbeginner
A practical course for Philippine lawyers and paralegals who have tried a chatbot, got something impressive, and quietly wondered whether they could trust it. You will learn what a language model is actually doing when it produces a citation, how to write prompts that get usable first drafts of clauses and correspondence, how to review a contract and summarise a long document without losing the exceptions, and how to rehearse a client interview against an AI that does not volunteer facts. Every unit ends with something you do, graded against a rubric. You will also learn where the line is: what must never be pasted into a consumer tool, and what has to happen to every citation before it leaves your desk. Bring a matter you are working on — the exercises ask for your own drafts, not hypotheticals. No technical background needed. This is course material, not legal advice; your obligations under the Code of Professional Responsibility and Accountability and the Data Privacy Act are yours to confirm against the current text of both.
